The politics of this nation is unacceptable. We have two sides that are unwilling to work with each other while the the American people are catching hell. No one side has all the answers and they know it, but before it is said that the other side has a good idea they will let the country continue to fall. This country was found on the idea of compromise and this is the true legacy of the founding ...fathers. We argue small government vs big government. This is a false arguement. The focus should be on effective government. We are not living in the 18th century so our government shouldn't look like it and we do not want a government so big that it gets in the way. Government should reflect the needs of the people at that time. In other words it should be relevent.
