A native of Statesboro, Ga., Jonathan McCollar is the product of a close family that shares a history and heritage that streches Virgina to Southeast Geogia. It is because of the lessons learned from his family that he recognizes and embraces the values of faith, hard work, perseverance, leadership and charity. Jonathan is married to the exceptional Adrianne McCollar and is the father of five beautiful children.
Jonathan McCollar is a product of the Bulloch County public schools and a proud graduate of Statesboro High School. True to his roots, McCollar remained in his hometown and earned a Bachelor's degree in History and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Georgia Southern University. Jonathan is very proud to be a servant of his local and global community. He is the Founder of the People Over Politics Movement. An organization born from his passion to improve the lives of all Americans.
Jonathan McCollar has dedicated his life to being a public servant, working tirelessly in the community as an educator, volunteer coach, community organizer, political activist, and youth mentor. He has been instrumental in developing a program that helps adults obtain their dreams of high school graduation, as well as a program that prepares youth for the American workforce. It is his goal to bring this record of hard work, team building, and leadership to the rest of the nation via the People Over Politics Movement.
